Leonard and load management raises the question of the 82 game grind of the NBA. and if the teams grant him his load management wishes, they admit he is right and opens up that question for the rest of the players as well. now that the precedent has been set how will they deal with players asking for the same consideration?
they can deny no such player request from now on. all they cud have done was to pro rate salary: i.e make a deal with Leonard on his base pay of a full contract...work out a game rate based on that and charge him for every game he does not play. now that would clear the whole situation up. players can get their load management but the team would not pay for it

that still leaves the question of the grind of 82 games: who is responsible for that...is that an owner rip off exhausting the players in the process?
or is that a fact of the basketball economy and how it has developed over the years...that it ensures all make their money including the players and their vast millions?
then again the players are required to play a maximum up to 6 hours on the court per week 4 times a month..6months per year.
how is that exhausting..or how exhausting is that.. for athletes who do only that?

because what Leonard has managed to do...essentially blackmailing teams who want to win championships, into giving him unfair advantage over the rest of the players in the league..he is calling the entire games structure of the NBA into question - featuring it as 'a grind that is using up the players for the greater profit of the NBA!'
it looks like Leonard is revolutionary but he is no such thing. he is just using the NBA because they have allowed him to do it..because the teams in question want to win. but in doing so they may have greased a slippery slope for themselves.
ok Leonard earns 32 million, 740 thousand usd per annum
LeBron, Lowery and Steph Curry make more
divide by 82 and Leonard by rights should lose about 5.5 million in salary if he is to get his load management. but they give him his whole salary and let him sit. so let me see what they do when others ask for the same thing

that is all I am asking man! I see balance in the NBA. I see even fly by night players at the lowest end of rosters in the NBA..whom they call in to make up a roster here and there... walk away with a few millions.
some of them just disappear never to be heard from again. I see a few do that for a few years running and make in total up to 15 - 20 millions. that's enough to set them up for life. I just looking to win a lottery for hundreds of thousands not millions...I know that wud set me up well enough in life
when I look at the NBA I see a structure that is all in balance that gives players money they could never dream off any other way. I see the NBA calling on them for maximum physical skill that can keep that structure going..and it is an effort that 2 or three games a week for 6 months should do them no harm.
it is longer for the teams that go on into play offs and the championship round. they can go 8- 8 and a half months in the year.
yet I see balance everywhere in the NBA structure..all over it. and players do not die from exhaustion playing basketball..not even a hint of any such thing among those who played the game for years. it is not like football where players actually die from playing that game

all things considered I see Kahwii Leonard as a lucky ma to get away with his blackmail... and a decided kiss mih arse IMPSE! destabilizing a nice running game that contains zillions of dollars that gives him the millions he takes home with every year
Leonard whatever the fuck he is up to, has let loose a potential that can harm or kill the goose with the egg or the fat calf..in this looming guava season for everybody coming up
that is what I see ketchim..and one reason why I don't like Leonard at all at all. there is no logic to it at all..and that is one reason why I am pissed with Doc Rivers for buying in. I don't mind Masai because he appeared to have been in it for just that 1 season.it seems to me now that Masai had no intention of going beyond last season with Leonard.
good! but not Rivers. they shud have made him pay for the games he is missing. the games he is missing leaves Leonard unfit and cant produce wins in the season that will leave the Clippers in good post season position. they just lost to San Antonio. so Leonard puts pressure on the team, on the other players..on his bed which groans because the skunt is always lying down on it, instead of practicing and playing basketball
there is no pressure on his bank account.
where in heavens name could an imps like Kahwaii Leonard be making 30+ millions per year not on the basket ball court?
the stupid skunt should be willing to play 5 times a week not just twice..too keep his calf fat..rather than doing shit that risks the food for the calf drying up

Giannis Antetokounmpo was unfazed about seeing his double-double streak come to an end during the Milwaukee Bucks' 137-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Antetokounmpo had 26 points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes in the victory on Saturday, falling just short of a 20th consecutive double-double.
But the reigning NBA MVP said he was focused on winning, with the Eastern Conference-leading Bucks improving to 17-3 after an 11th straight victory.
"It doesn't really matter. That's not how I'm built. I'm not built around stats," Antetokounmpo told a news conference.
"I think the record can talk for itself. Out of 20 games, we win 17. We can always get better … I'm just here to win."
The Bucks led 66-49 at half-time against the Hornets before also outscoring Charlotte in the third and fourth quarters.
It meant the likes of Khris Middleton (15), Dragan Bender (12), Ersan Ilyasova (11), D.J. Wilson (11) and George Hill (10) contributed off the bench, combining for 59 points.
"Obviously the game plan and the offense that we have, it makes it easy to move the ball and everybody touches the ball, everybody scores the ball," Antetokounmpo said.
"It was just good that we had a lead and we came out in the third quarter and extended that lead and we gave a chance to guys like Dragan, Fran, D.J..
"They came in, they played, they were knocking down shots, they were having fun, so I think as a team we got better."
The Bucks will face the struggling New York Knicks at Fiserv Forum on Monday.

I agree with your argument BUT hey, its a free market economy and
Negotiate yuh own deal.
IF Kawhi sucessfully did that with both Rappers and now Clippers organisations
with the NBA big wigs looking on with eyes wide open ~
I cannot be upset with the Negotiator especially when that buzzer beater to dispose of Giannis
in the Eastern Final : still ringing in meh head !
