and there was no way Masai was going to play in this free agent market. he cud not improve the Raptors in that market so he stayed far away from it.

I love this...the way it used to be in the past when you trusted in your drafting and eye for talent wherever you found talent. all this free agency biz is not all there for me..too mercenary, even doh we won with it last season.
TERRENCE DAVIS WAS THERE ON THE BENCH ALL THE TIME AND NOW HE IS STARTING..JUST LIKE VAN VLEET, WHO HAS GROWN INTO A STAR SAME WAY
that is what I figured..that at least 2 or 3 of the bench were likely stars..we have one now out in Davis...sliding into holes created by injury. Hollis Jefferson too. and then there are McCaw, Brisset, Boucher. look out!

Masai is a very smart man!
simple that's why..he's not bothered and blinded by crap: leave dat free agent market alone mostly. only when there is real value in there do you upset and imbalance your finances and draft posture by trading cash and picks for stars
