yes! Kevin Love
if there was ever any doubt about him he showed dem las' night. he was awesome. he even shocked me. he has come back better than he was it seems
the Cavs have a smart experienced older coach. with a player like Love, couple to three more, he can cause a lot of problems for any team at all.
all who must pass through the Cavs now must prepare for a good team not a bottom feeder. if deh do that deh will leave like TO Raps..and me too: I expected a walk-over..with their tails between their legs

Cleveland takes Philly to the wire tonite....
Cleveland has morphed into a good team capable of giving any team in the NBA trouble..and actually beat them on any night. Cleveland may be at the bottom but they no longer play like a cellar-dweller. they wont be down here much longer
how in the the hell Raptors did not know that and been prepared for them?
the Raptors played like they were totally unaware that Cleveland could play basketball better and better as the season has gone on. the Raps were humiliated..beaten by what..30 points?
but that is Nick Nurses responsibility... to scout teams, know how they are when the Raps have to play them and to be ready to defeat them with some relevant plan. the Raptors were not ready for Cleveland and absorbed a terrific beating that must have hurt their collective ego
I don't like Nick Nurse as head coach of the Raptors. I think he is a lucky but lousy head coach, not at all in the class of the man he replaced...Dwayne Casey.
look at the Raptors scheduling: the Raps have not played back to back games in months...there is always a day between Raptors games..and at times two days like this point here. they lost on Tuesday and next game is on Thursday. let me see if they will rest Leonard again..on 2 days..well 3 days rest because he did not play many minutes in Tuesdays beat-down.
but it does not matter weather Leonard plays or not..the Raps lately are getting beat with Leonard on the floor.
as the season wears on into the crunch time, Raps quality as a team is being tested and exposed. the results are not good so far. I was at first in agreement with Masa's preseason, and in-season work.. but not anymore. he was wrong in almost all he did - has done..but he is the one paid to see that he is not wrong..ever. not me!
well he was wrong. I did not expect him to go as far as he has gone. he has literally rebuilt the team between the end of last season and now. he made over the whole dam team and that was quite unnecessary. he had to get major scoring that's all.
the Raptors are now a temporary agglomeration of mercenaries who will disperse at the end of their collective season with the Raps...never to re-assemble again
I don't know that such a collection has ever won any dam thing together. you must keep an essential team as your core, a bunch that knows each other, can play together..a base on which to showcase the stars
I don't like this Raptors bunch at all. I cant call them a team. who remains..Siakam and Lowery...Powell for 4 years - but he cant play!? at best 2 years the others have been in Toronto.
you have to have some principle based in reality. you must have a team and a core of solid, quality players who are committed to the team and the town. you are not going to trade away those players..that is the most counter-productive thing a GM can do..yet he traded DeRozan the most committed Raptor of all.
DeRozan we can see now was the most solid, consistent, dependable member of the Raptors team. and he loved Toronto. Lowery cannot compensate alone..and Van Vleet is not nearly as good DeRozan was for the Raps
Trading DeRozan was one huge mistake..a monster mistake that may yet cost Masai his job. Nick Nurse for Dwayne Casey is another to add to Masai's folly

on current standings and factoring in for any change among the 5, 6 and 7 teams in the standings, Toronto will play either Detroit, Brooklyn or Boston
on current form the Raptors wont get past Brooklyn. Brooklyn will beat the Raps in the playoffs
Detroit will put up a stout fight but are likely to lose in the end to the Raps..Boston as well. Boston has turned out to be a rather cheesy side with a mixed up Irving at their centre
Toronto will also beat Indiana in the playoffs..a side that has a talent shortage that always shows up against the top teams. and of course Miami. the heat will play tough as they always do under Spolestra but that wont save them vs the Raps
but by the standings the Heat are not in the Raps playoff future but I wish they were for obvious reasons.
the Raps should also beat Philly..a team that may come apart under pressure. one never knows what Jimmy Butler might do when the chips are down, the impact he may have on his own team as he falls apart...if he falls apart
but all of this is just preamble: no team in the east is better than Milwaukee and Milwaukee should and will emerge as east champions. their main competition are Brooklyn and Philly..not the Raps
the Raps can beat Philly but Milwaukee will have a much harder time beating Philly than the Raps would. its a matter of style.
its the same with Brooklyn and Toronto. I think Brooklyn has the Raps number style-wise and eat the Raps for breakfast.
and in that same tone I assess that Milwaukee has them all in their Bucks bag style-wise.
so Milwaukee comes out of the east and the Raps go home first or second round..or even in the finals..depending on when they buck up on one of the two teams they definitely cant beat..Brooklyn and Milwaukee: or one of the toughies but beatable Detroit, Philly and possibly Boston..who can beat the Raps but most likely wont

the Raps win large.....
but look at this nuh..the NBA seriously want Toronto to win this thing. they have given the Raps so much time between games I cant believe.
other teams are playing seriously consistent games..back to back games and more. the Raps are playing games every TWO - 2 days..rather every third day. incredible!
