The quote from CBS that says it all
the Raps sit dong and allow Leonard to sit every other game, while they wait for the playoffs to turn him loose. they are all sitting waiting while their base erodes.
that's how things go. if you sit on anything it wont stay the same..nutten stays the same..always moving. forward or backward depending on what you doing with it
the Raps must be about honing their team, blending it, gelling it, developing chemistry and tactics etc. but they are not doing that. they are a bunch of lazy bums in waiting mode. they think they have a place at the top wrapped up, but they better be careful about the best laid plans of stupid men
they have to start play Leonard every night. schedule-wise the Raps have had it sweet..a game every other night..sometimes a game in 3 nights...and they still wont play Leonard every game.
the Raps must get serious about their game or they will lose it..they have just about lost it already. Boston lost and have fought their way back in shame and disgraced. but still think however that Boston is not top notch in talent and will loose about second round in the playoffs

“I’d love to have some magic potion and say we can come out and play with better energy
but we’ve got to, at some point, stop talking about it and figure it out,”

you missing the point man
the Raps are a new team. they are not playing together..they are lazy and slow to get going. that means no real chemistry.
look..Ibaka and Lowery used to play together and Ibaka was very effective. that is not happening now with the new members..and Ibaka is not nearly as effective as he was.
that has to be solved. you cant have Ibaka down and out
dats my argument..the Raps o longer has a team and I would not have done that. full of talent yes but no team. dat is why deh are losign. deh have to work it out. how in the hell will deh do dat without Leonard on the floor every night?
time is running out for them to work it out. and things have been and are in the Raps favor in that they do not appear to have back to games. they a day in between games..at times 2 days. there is no bloody reason why Leonard cant play every dam game

Kevin love ran rings around the Raps..most of the Browns did that too. and Toronto could not adjust at all at all at all

the Raps will prolly cut Lin soon..and McCaw as well. they are both useless.
this was a night for Lin to have stepped up with the reg players cold. he scord 8 points 1 rebound and 2 assists
McCaw was even worse: 2-1-2 in 18 minutes
and how much potential do players like Amunoby and Powell have?
Powell was useless. this is his foruth year in the league drafted by the Raps. he shud be ready to explode if he has any upside at all. now is his time with Van Vleet injured. but he has done nothing in all that time
the conclusion is inescapable. Powell has had enough time and opportunity. if he has not evolved into a starter by now he does not have it. more than a quarter almost a third of his career gone. this is it. I expect that if he does no show up in the remaining season he will be cut or traded by next season
so here we have McCaw, Lin, Powell..very poor contributors..Anunoby very iffy. and also tonight I saw Gasol passing the Ball to where Leonard was supposed to be but wasnt. that means cohesion is missing. they have not played long renough together to have developed symmetry.
deh have only 12 more games to develop that symmetry and Leonard plays every other night..so 6 games. the Raps are going to need some luck..big luck to win through. the Raps are hardly as good a team as we thought
PS: it is too late to cut anybody now in fact. forget it. the Raps must go to the playoffs with both Lin and McCaw

I figure the Raps get beat easy in the playoffs..first or second round
Leonard trips out to LA and the Raps must rebuild. there are some good players remaining...Siakam, Van Vleet. Lowery shud be there and Ibaka
Green shud be traded for pik(s), Gasol cut along with Lin and McCaw. Anunoby will be kept for another year at least and Powell traded or cut
at least that is what I would do: let Leonard walk..keep the top 4 with Anunoby while getting rid of the rest. I would not pay no hundreds of millions for Leonard. his heart is not in Toronto. and after this experience he wont want to stay. I wud help him onto the plane and fiyah up the engines to take him away.
and I don't know about Masai Ujiri nidah. I don't like the job he has done. since last year he has done a lousy job that will end in a disaster. he can get fired for that.
when the basketball analytics give their report on Ujiri to the Raps owners..I don't think Masai will look good. his job is hanging I think. he got pissed and took it out on DeRozan when the dam team was not good enuff to win. this team seems even less capable of winning
at the end of the day Masai shud not have made the trades he made. he shud not have gutted the team of DeRozan, JV and Casey
