I saw so much of Kalli for Warwicks and even if he played against my team, whether at County or Country level, I always looked forward to his walk to the crease and pleased to see him leave as well because he was so professional and accumulated so well and quickly. He could really time a cricket ball without effort.
What a 'leg end'.

Alvin Kallicharran is one of my favorite players. His confrontation with Lillee at the Oval is a classic.

That's what I love. Absolutely no context.
Lillee was a broken man after that - ha ha ha ha ha.

Boquiesse,
Making judgments about people in this forum is purely based on the integrity of their posts and whilst one does not always, if ever, have to agree with the other, the manner in which points are made is telling.
You seem an agent provocateur, with an agenda and quite an obvious bias whilst transparently, but failing, to be diplomatic.
You may not intend to, but you are very selective in your responses. For example you berated Sarwan for an alleged incident and conversely retorted to another poster stay away from Cricketers' personal lives. I do agree with you but be consistent please. I also think that anyone in the public eyes, especially where they influence youngsters, have a responsibility to deport themselves in a certain way. It is not always easy to live your life in the public eyes and errors are made but someone partying is quite different to social irresponsibility.
We all have different perspective and we have the freedom to express those but I find you are not engaging with the actual conversation and you go off at a tangent.
I am sure you are not intending to but it is annoying.
I hope you do not mind me pointing this out and look forward to informed debate which you have a lot to contribute to.
Hope you had a great Christmas mate.

You call me an agent provocateur? That is like the pot calling the kettle black.
Many folks on this board have their own agenda as evidenced by many of their posts. They expect others to either meekly agree or stay away.
When I last checked this was a public message board and if the moderators think I crossed the line then they can ban me.
I never told any poster to stay away from personal lives. What i said was that (by and large) I am not interested in the personal lives of cricketers. For example, I don't know or care if Sammy is married, if his wife is pregnant, or if he has fathered 50 children all over the world!! Others can post what they want to about personal lives.

I heard there is a saying about not knowing ones' ass from their elbow in Windies (hawk help me here)
This may be pertinent to this errant person.
Would we say a rapist is free to express his views and will.
Freedom of expression is a given moderated by the will and views of the majority.
There are seminal moments when the majority needs persuasion but this is inapplicable here.

That is exactly what I mean. As I said I am not interested in the private lives of sportsmen.
You are the one who keeps harping from on high about morally bankrupt - so keep right on.
