I do not want to get away from DeSouza but what is consistent is Mappippee burden of hate.

DeSouza was my hero and whilst I acknowledge and note your comments there is far too much anger and resentment.


I get it one of my heroes is not one of yours and that is fine.


The guy has passed on now and I just wanted to reflect on his career.


As I said before, you do not make a first class debut at 15-16 because you are crap.

The early days if westindian cricket was the domain of the White s.
Sure they had the token Negroes thrown in and I mean the Constantines , the Headleys and Cumberbatches  but these guy  had to be 10 times  better than the whites .
No one can deny that the Stolymeyers , Gomez were there were only there because of their white skin.'

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
