Calypso , that story is as beautiful and romantic as the ones I have heard about the Babu !
My father and uncle went to Bourda . They both swear that when Rohan hooked his SIX :
it landed on top of the sight screen and CRACKED the thick wood.
Shot was soooo HARD and Powerful

There are 2 kinds of BATTING GREATS: Ordinary greats and Extraordinary greats.
* The EXTRAORDINARY GREATS are those who dominated their respective eras----Bradman, Sobers, Richards, Lara, Tendulkar
* The ORDINARY GREATS are those who ended their careers with a minimum of 3000 test runs and a 50+ test average,

KEEP AN EYE ON THESE NUMBERS
* Shiv(11,834) needs 120 runs to surpass Lara(11,953) as the highest runs scorer in test cricket by a West Indian.
* Shiv needs 4 scores of 50+ to become the 4th batsman in history to record 100+ scores over fifty----he'll join Tendulkar(119), Ponting(103) and Kallis(103).
* Shiv(6154) needs 64 runs to surpass Lara(6217) for most runs scored by a batsman in the West Indies.
* Shiv(11,834) needs 166 runs to become the 7th batsman in history to score 12,000 test runs.

* Jayawardene(49.84), Inzamam(49.60), Worrell(49.48) and Sehwag(49.34) barely missed joining the 50+ club.
* And let's not forget Kanhai(47.53)----he was a far superior bat than slow pokes like Shiv, Border, and Swaugh.
