* Those are some impressive numbers the past 9 years.

* Shiv has had a poor start in 2015----hopefully he'll recover in his remaining 3 innings against England and his next 4 innings against Australia in June.

This is he sign that perhaps it's time for him to say goodbye to Cricket. But I would like to see him reach to 12000 runs first.

Since January 1, 2014, Shiv has scored 616 runs at an average of 51.33 in 16 innings. The only batsman to score more runs over this same period is Kraigg Brathwaite (769). Brathwaite (54.92) and Shane Shillingford (107.00) are the only two with a higher average.

In his last 5 first-class matches coming into this series, Shiv averaged 40.28.

* Can the Tiger miraculously score another test hundred ?

* Tendulkar, Ponting, Dravid, Richards, Kanhai did not reach 3 figures in their last 5 tests.

* Lara and Sobers did, but they are extraordinary greats.

* Kallis scored a hundred in his last innings.

* Once again can Shiv pull off a miracle----he has 3 innings to go versus England and 4 versus Australia, then it will be all over for the Tiger.
