Boomrah !
4.2
Bumrah to Burns, there's the nick and Burns' poor run continues!
Bumrah has got him nicking off to a delivery he should've looked to leave.

Ashwin to Wade, Oh, Matt Wade! What have you done? Going for a glory hit so soon? Steps out to take him on, Ashwin gets this to dip and turn, Wade heaves across the line to get a top-edge. Now, Gill runs back from midwicket, Jadeja to his left from mid-on. There's confusion, it seems as if both of them will collide. They do, but Jadeja just manages to hang on as this descends on them.

Ashwin to Smith, big, big moment. Smith has glanced one to Pujara at leg gully. Ashwin bowls one down the leg side, not sure how much that was part of the plan but Smith makes the connection alright but ends up hitting it straight to Pujara

India's day even after losing the toss. Mind you, Rahane too wanted to bat first. But India's bowlers, especially Ashwin in the first session and Bumrah in the last, helped them bundle Australia out for 195. Debutant Siraj too picked up two. India were left with 50 minutes to deal with and Mitchell Starc then put up one of the best displays of fast bowling. It had everything: pace, swing and accuracy. Mayank Agarwal couldn't survive the first over and India couldn't open their account until the fourth when Shubman Gill, the other debutant, struck a boundary. While both Pujara and Gill kept getting beaten, they ensured India didn't lose another wicket today. Gill struck some delectable shots as well in between and moved to 28 off 38 with five fours. Co-incidentally, India finished the day on 36, for 1

An unhurried unbeaten 94 from Kane Williamson steered New Zealand through a testing opening day at Mount Maunganui, helping them end it only three down despite a number of testing spells from Pakistan. The visitors could have found more reward for their efforts with a bit more luck and better catching, but the experience and skill of Williamson, Ross Taylor and Henry Nicholls eventually ensured New Zealand had their noses ahead at stumps.

South Africa's bowlers were better than a lot of their figures look.
Lutho Sipamla got better with each spell but still proved expensive despite his maiden wicket
Anrich Nortje bowled rockets at times. But Wiaan Mulder was the pick of the bunch with 3 for 68
finding movement and bounce on a consistent line and length.
Encouragement for Sri Lanka's own bowlers when their time comes.
