Stumps, Day 2 : India trail by 307 runs.
4.45pm Well, after all that, play has been abandoned for the day due to a wet outfield
Not sure Tim Paine is thrilled by that decision, but the umpires have decided
the ground hasn't pulled up after that heavy rain.
Play will resume half an hour early tomorrow at 9.30am local time.

24.6
Thakur to Harris, gloved behind! Short pitch ball directed high over middle and leg,
Harris gloves up by his helmet and the ball brushes them!
Marcus Harris c †Pant b Thakur 38 (82b 8x4 0x6) SR: 46.34
25.6
Washington Sundar to Warner, given lbw, trapped deep in the crease! Begins to walk off but sneaks in a review
Shaping up to cut for the one that turns. Instead got the arm ball to slide on and hit his back thigh
That's three reds on DRS. It's hitting off and middle and suddenly, the momentum's turned.
It's Thakur and Sundar bringing India back in again
David Warner lbw b Washington Sundar 48 (75b 6x4 0x6) SR: 64

294 all out
Siraj 5Fer, Thakur 4Fer
Siraj gets to lead the team off, holding the ball aloft, what a great moment for a player
who has been through so much on this tour. He's been a star.
Stumps : Yup, that is it. It is still raining ....We are done with day FOUR
98 overs on paper tomorrow, day FIVE !
India need 328 to win the series, Australia need 10 wickets.

Aussie commentators: when Australia is batting the pitch has demons but when India is batting the pitch is a batting paradise. Also from the time India starts batting the Aussie 'fearsome pacers' will quickly get them out and win the game. Go figure!

Test cricket will not die, what a fantastic match; what tremendous character shown by the Indian 'replacements'
