Current partnership 73 runs, 17.2 overs, RR: 4.21 (Silva 37, Karunaratne 31)
17.2
Woakes to Karun, big appeal, and Woakes looks keen to review, and so be it...
It was smashing the top of off, but not sufficiently smashing! :-[

The can Jonny Bairstow continue as England's wicketkeeper despite dropping at least one catch per innings debate rages on. Big missed opportunity. Sri Lanka making England pay for it. 100 up.

Karun exits into Bairstow gloves.
I think that's 17 for Bairstow in the series now, only two shy of the three-Test record.
And yet, it's the drop we'll be talking about.

Alastair Cook is apparently back from his X-ray, but it'll be Compo and Hales to lead out
in England's second innings. The last time Compton opened the batting in FC cricket
and the only time since Sep 2013 was for MCC vs Yorkshire in Mar 2015..

Eranga to Compton, edged, and gone! Oh Compo! He was looking the part, but finally
one was just too close to that edge, and back he goes, a feather through to the keeper.
Nick c †Chandimal b Eranga 19
