Herath to Bairstow, 1 run - off comes the helmet, a third Test hundred for Jonny Bairstow,
his third of 2016 and his first at Lord's
.
You're on the board, son

A gritty innings from Bairstow today. He wasn't at his fluent best, but he found ways to score runs and did so at a good clip. Woakes also chipped in with some handy runs.
Overall, a decent day for England, although after winning the toss in batting friendly conditions, anything less than 370 will probably be considered a disappointment.

An excellent morning session for England. They add 105 runs for just the loss of one wicket. Bairstow continues to plunder the runs, bringing up his 150 in the process and Chris Woakes proves himself to be a very capable replacement for Stokes with the bat at least. England 384/7 at lunch.

England all out for 416. Bairstow finishes 167 not out. The lower middle order and tail once again bail England out. Be interested to see what, if anything, Broad and Anderson can get out of this pitch.
