This is a dangerous England Test team:
Trott - averages high 40s and 50s in Tests/Odis
Ballance - averages 60 in Tests
Joe Root - averaging 50 in Tests. Doesn't get out once he gets going.
Adam Lyth - 43 First Class Average
Cook - averaging 46 in Tests. Also doesn't get out once stuck in.
Ian Bell - averaging 45 in Tests. Scores a century every 8 innings, but tends not to score outside England.
Butler - averaging 66 in Tests
________________________________
Statistically, in the batting department, this England team is arguably 3 or 4 times as good as us. We have...
Samuels - averaging 35 in tests
Paint - averaging 37 in tests (he should average in the 40s after this tour is over; his weakness is, he rarely scores above 30 in the second innings)
Chanders - averaging 52 in tests, arguably our only world class player
Darren Bravo - averaging 43 in tests.
Leon Johnson - averaging 39 in tests

West Indies are dismal away from home.
At home the WI have lost but have had some half decent performances.
England are expecting to win this very comfortably but I think they could be in for a surprise.

The point is if they don't click as a unit,it is only going to prove useless anyway. They need to play as a unit, which has been missing for quite sometime now.Maybe they can turn it around against a low profile opposition..maybe..

We are HOME .
as evidenced by the recent home made BREADS in New Zealand.
we WILL compete agressively (with our new players) in front of our home crowd .

How are the grounds in WI.
Do people cheer all along or will the grds be half empty always.Maybe with support WI can just do it.

It is difficult getting folks to attend test matches.
Antigua government has given half day off on Monday but that's no guarantee of a good local crowd. It's quite likely the barmy army will outnumber local fans.
I also think that the Antigua Recreation ground was better located re attendance but given its location there was not much expansion that could be done.

Well we have some players THROWN into the deep end AWAY for the WC
compliments of Brabits and PollyPieces
It would be NICE to see them in the COMFORT of the Caribbean ....
Example : I think Jonathan Carter will come good.
Regardless of the Spectators OR lack thereof : just playing on a HOME 22 yards !
Likewise Holder and Jerome and Roachie !

Our last Test successes at home came against Bangladesh and an under-strength New Zealand. Those New Zealand wins largely took place thanks to Gayle and Narine, none of whom are playing for us vs England.
I don't sense any unity in our team. These new Bajan boys are tight, but the selectors won't play them together. Darren, Samuels and Chanders are in their own bubbles, Marlon "run out King" Samuels is a nightmare to build a partnership with, and our bowlers don't seem to get along.
You look at the England and NZ bowling attacks, and there is a sense of camraderie there, a sense of shared purpose. Our bowlers bowl an over then go to their corner on the field. Nobody seems to be operating in tandem with anybody else. That we continuously chop and change, and dont play the same attacks across Tests and ODIS, doesnt help either.
I think our young batsmen will step up and do well. Victory will come down to the better bowling attack and whether the hot sun troubles guys like Root.

Broad is Injured and struggling
Jimmeh seems to lack motivation.
Newcomers Stokes and Wood may just have to prove themselves.
Paint and Chanders will welcome them to a concept called "Crease Occupation"
Spinners Rashid and Tredwell were carted around in St.Kitts
