We are talking West Indies and a new Chairman of selectors.

I wonder what the view would ahve been had Johnson not been selected who I actually see more as a Test prospect.

Why would you select a man dropped in June for a string of poor performances and after 156 ODIs average a paltry, unacceptable 31!

Why would Lloyd return a confirmed failure in Smith and who after 91 ODIs average 17?

Where do I start with Sammy? He simply is not good enough but T20s yes.

Also what is Holder's role in the squad. He looked very impressive and promising as a 19 year old but seems to have gone backwards with speed, variation, movement etc.

He is capable of batting but what does that mean?

I certainly would have had Blackwood instead of either Johnson, Sammy, Samuels.

I hope they do well and prove me wrong.
