Richie Richardson, the team manager, will take charge of the side on an interim basis

for the series against Bangladesh.

The rest of the coaching staff, including assistant coaches :

Stuart Williams and Andre Coley, and bowling consultant Curtly Ambrose,

will remain in their positions.

It didn't work with AUS and 'dat homework' stuff won't work most definitely with the WI players ....

I hav never rated Coaches in Cricket .

Besides he was appointed Coach or some similar position to the High Performance Centre in Barbados some time ago.  Here in Oz he was Coach of Woodville District Cricket Club  and had some position with SACA (South Australia Cricket), so he's got coaching experience.... and he is a bright chap 

He was not interested in replacing Richard Pybus as BANG Coach but said that having worked with the South Australia's development program, he remains open to an elite coaching role, but primarily in Australia or the Caribbean where he retains close ties with native Guyana.  "I know there are a few things that might come up in SA or the Caribbean" Link

I always believed that WI team was on the up when Hooper was Cappo as he seemed to have a nurturing way with the upcoming younsters at the time but ..... unfortunately he got back stabbed    If not Hoops ... maybe Uncle Phil ???
