That is not what he said. One could read an implication that Hussain was a failure because he was Muslim.
That's why I am seeking clarification from ramesh.

England went for Stokes because of his performance in Australia. What kept him out the test side was his broken hand.
I suspect they think he is as good a bowler as Jordan but a better batsman.
I don't think there is much to choose between them. IMO Stokes and Jordan are both average test bowlers.

oui bwoy! oui!
Titty is many different cultural groups in one small place all divided by racism and a system that was set up for or grew out of that historical reality.
what I notice about the west indies is that it is really more a mulatto society than anything else as far as social domination goes. I thought Jamaica was this worse in that regard but then I came back to really look at Titty and it s just as bad as Jamaica or worse.
and it all began with the French in Titty...under Spanish administration. Trinidad was for all pratcial purposes French fropm the start up to the British take over. then from Abercromby the imposed english administration/language, brought Africans, Chinese, then Indos..ultimately Lebanese etc.
there are Mulattos in Trinidad who still speak the old French, passed down from generation to generaration...and the spanish too which is a strong cultural expression in the parang at christimas time. very catholic.
and the term French Creole was coined there. the French became very mixed with black now and some became exceedingly rich like the Colonial life family whose name skips me at the moment.
the old cricketer Andy Ganteume is one of them. and you could usually tell by the names of Trinidadians who they were

Captain until they decide he is not good enough. England's cricket is like a soap opera. So much drama off the field and this quick to blame the captain or a certain player for their cricketing problems.

I agree, but he did lose a test against SL with his very timid approach.
