Excellent stand by India's last wicket pairing.
Hope Indian spinner can do something cause wicket have little for the faster bowlers.

I expected 450 on this wicket but did not expect the 10th wicket partnership, between numbers 11 and 10, to get them there, however that was some proper batting from these two.
Boycott, who normally says it as it is, warned that England did everything possible and since I did not see the game live I am not sure what to make of that.
Well done to those lads for their application and something others, including us, can learn from.
Not the best starts but India missed a trick in excluding Ashwin.
I am intrigued to see how this pans out but thus far one has to hand it to the Indians.
This is the worse pitch I can recall for our home team.

Oh geez I couldn't watch the match but WTF did they let get away with a 10th wicket partnership? Although pitch seems dead flat - let's see if they can bat it out and milk some runs out of this. Instead of going full retard and giving it away. There doesn't seem to be much in it.

Ah, the fair enough. If Boycs said that then that'd be more than likey true. The old sod goes way too harsh if anything, so if he'd said that I believe him.
Then blame squarely goes on the curator. How retarded can someone be, playing it right into India's hands?
Although IDK why do you think India missed a trick by not play Ashwin?

Brilliant Innings from the No:10 and 11.Sensible batting,to ensure India did not crumble for a 350 odd. This has given them a psychological advantage and they would be looking to rip through the English line up.
Cook is having an off season and nothing seems to be working in his favor.

England 118/1 in 44 overs. Good foundation laid by Robson and Ballance. India need a break through here.

England have laid a solid platform to build up from here. Jaddu is turning the ball pretty well here.Looks like he is going to make a big impact this game.

India get a breakthrough and guess what,it is Ishant who does the star turn here.LBW for Robson and he goes for a solid 59.
Cricinfo.:
Sharma to Robson,
OUT
, nip back again, rapped in front - and given! He was stuck a little on the crease, good ball from Ishant and India have the traditional post-lunch breakthrough!
unexpected it was..

3rd wicket and it is Ishant Again.and guess what LBW.e's done it again, both of England's set batsmen sent back to the changing room. This was a cracker of a ball to Ballance, who is a little uncertain on that line, it straightened enough to beat the inside edge and hit halfway up the front leg
GS Ballance lbw b Sharma 71 (167b 9x4 0x6) SR: 42.51
Both set batsmen are out so this is time India need to attack and pounce on them and kill them..
I have been seeing too many fantasy stories of late..

Ishant is on fire. Third wicket after lunch, this time it's the big one of Ian Bell. England 172/4, trail by 285
