Lunatic...into total decline!

since 1995 what has exploded in growth in west indies cricket is bureaucracy...

from a secretary with a clerical staff when we were world champions the cricket has declined in opposite ratio to the growth of the cricket bureaucracy.  we now have a full complement of officials and their minions running the cricket.  talk about your top heavy organization but it surely costs now by a factor of multiplication more more for the off-field workers at the wicb than it does for those who actually play the cricket

what are there now..50-70 people at Factory Road ::confused::

a major substitution has taken place.  the bureaucracy is now centre stage.  from Pat Rosseau to Skameron currenty...they have built up a bureaucracy so large it gives Skameron the impression that is 'secretariat' is on par with CARICOM and that his importance as president is on par with prime ministers.  it is not unheard of nowto hear the voice of the president  of the wicb dealing with general region-wide and local issues on par with prime ministers.

when there are disasters Skameron is on the front line giving statements as leader of the wicb.  when there are big deaths and congrats to be offered by leaders Skameron is in there to doing the same as if the wicb is much more than a cricket institution.

the wicb is now  A  sinecure and basis for big regional things, a sought after position not for the cricket but the projection of our technocrats into regional leadership.  the cricket is now secondary to the cricket bureacracy.  the bureaucracy pay no real attention to the cricket.  they are there to feed off not to build up.  if they do build up it is to ensure that they can continue to fee indefinitely for that is essentially what a bureaucracy is..a parasitic organization or entity..dracula

and bureaucracy is expansionary..imperialist always, seeking to save itself in constant expansion, roping in more people to share its parasitism to be better able to control socially, forcing those who actually do the work of creating wealth to continue doing so.. so that the bureaucracy can live.

that is the problem with the wicb..with west indian life that has been fully bureaucratized..with the whole world now under the yoke of bureaucracies, enslaving the people of the planet as they seek to unite in global social control.  in the west indies they have brought the region into total failure as independent states and as such the cricket reflects the total social failure of the west indies.  the west indies are dying before our very eyes and cricket now symbolizes out death as it once expressed our very temporary, brilliant and hopeful, post independence start-up

the west indies now play cricket like the near death society we are.  we cant play cricket at all any more..we who were such brilliant champions have turned ourselves into chumps.  we are so bad now and worsening we are the great maritime nations of the past who now cant even build sail boats or fish for food.

and a significant factor of such dying and death is that those at the centre of the failure never can see whats going on, think they are doing fine, doing right and the fault for the failure lies elsewhere.  that's the west indies and west indians.  those who may see dont care.  and those who profit off the failure see nothing wrong with it.

the wicb has collected at their HQ some of the most subservient, conservative and backward of west indians,  the worst west indians really from the angle of nationalists, those with creative mind and drive of independent nationalists, people who want to see the west indies unite and thrive.  all such in cricket have been marginalized by the wicb for those who are suck-up, infirmity to the white skin, concerned only for their own prestige and well-being in the region..even if the region must die to ensure they have what they want.

the man in the middle who symbolizes all that for me is SIR Richie Richardson..replete with a title f it once meant a great deal means nothing at all in the current west indies.  at least the cachet of a knighthood has gone the way of the skunk in the west indies, from an accepted scent to stink.  but that is what they all want up the Dots..all such as Richardson..out dated awards that tell us all we need to know about those individuals wh wear them proudly  SIR...really TOM!

there will come a point of correlation-ship however at which west indies cricket will die and take the bureaucracy with it.

but it must be noted that as long as there is some semblance of the game still going on at the representative level and there is money for that enough to maintain the bureaucracy they will be there

it does not matter if the west indies are dead last in cricket, getting beaten for 50 years straight.  as long as there are financial flows the wicb will be there, expanding if possible.  we will see at points along the way a very extensive bureaucracy but the cricket will be dead last.

that's the way it is..the point that has become in all of this.  the quality of the cricket is of no concern to the wicb.  their big jobs are

I was rudely awakened yesterday by our abject failure... how far the malaise has progressed.  I had no idea of the speed of the decline.  I thought that we had some time yet, to at least give some opposition trouble.. for a few years yet before the death really set in.

no such luck.  the rot is well and truly set now.  that is because of the people the wicb has entrenched in its offices.

Clyde Butts is the most awful and parasitic of bureaucratic types.  that MC has fed off the wicb for what... 15 years now.  his crap as a selector is now at an exponent, entrenched and shiiity to an extreme.  the crap is now flowing out of his mouth, ears nose into the worst selections imaginable

Buttsy and Gibson combined are accountable for wasting years on Tino Best and Fidel Edwards instead of developing young pace that west indies have been producing for a few years now in bunches.  they have been all left by the way side.

Butsy and Gibbo are so entrenched in their senile and rotten ways that they rather put an unfit team on the field, rather than bring in some youth currently excelling.

HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU SELECT KIERON POWELL OVER KRAIGG WHEN KRAIG IS OPERATING AT AN FC AVERAGE OF 55...A LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE POWELL HAS NEVER EVER COME CLOSE TO IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER ::confused:: ::confused::  POWELL HAS PROVED HIMSELF ALREADY.  HE HAS BEEN PLAYED AND PLAYED AND PLAYED ..AND NOW HE IS TOTALLY PLAYED OUT.  HOW MUCH MORE DO THEY NEED TO SEE THAT THE KID IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH ::confused::

That Kieron Powell is still on the west indies is an example of total corruption.  somebody's influence and power is behind that selection.

not even Buttsy and Gibson are so blind as not to see the real quality or lack of same that is Powell.  to select Powell is to ensure west indies lose games by poor batting efforts.  yet they pick him relentlessly.  what the hell do they expect from him, a career 25 average..that he will suddenly blossom and score tons against all opposition  ::confused::::confused::

the kid though still 23-24 has been around the west indies team for 4-5 years now.  when in the hell will he blossom?

Powell, like Walton, Corbin, Bonner and a bunch of them does not have ability at the highest level.  Powell looks brilliantly good but that's it.  he does not have the substance of a test class cricketer and if we continue with him we will continue to lose.

but the point is that we do pik him and why?  the answer represents the problem..the bureaucratic rot at the heart of the cricket

to mention Gibbo and thinking... wisdom, intelledctual activity, common sense in any combination is oxymoron.

oh jesus crise!  {head between my legs, squeezing tight to try keep it together on this here..the Gibson comments as reported next door.}

Gibson  pik bad bowling  he knew was not adequate to do the job.. but is extremely happy about how they came along, improved for the next game although we get we arse cut..and despite the fact that we could have done better by selecting others..fit and ready to go.

Otis Gibson is quite insane.  I thought it was sabotage all along but it is insanity. total stupidity is a form of insanity isnt it..extreme incompetence ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
