As the circus continues the APNU/AFC, in continuing attempts to stay in power after losing the national elections has now brought three highly frivolous (according to a cross section of lawyers) 'private' (sic) charges against GECOM Chair, Claudette Singh, the same individual chosen to be the Chair by President Granger who continually expressed confidence in her ability and her job performance. So what has changed?

as being res judicata !

24 hour stay granted by the Court of Appeal : EXPIRE !

However the Court of Appeal tossed out the case citing, among other things,

an endorsement of the recount data

by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) – Guyana‘s Apex Court.


Following the ruling, one of Jones’ lawyer Roysdale Forde, asked that the Court stay its judgment

and was granted 24 hours or 1 day !
