Oh boy ! this Topic becoming an Issue !

Black people in Trinidad treasure this fantasy as if it’s gospel, and their brethren in Guyana too.

The subtitle is that Indians who came later, didn’t build anything like the slaves and suffered less

should not have political power or any kind of power for that matter.

Indo-Guyanese and Indo-Trinis have more in common than the Afros.

The fact is not so long ago many westerns used to think that the WI/Caribbean was synomous with just Afros.
even in the cricket world 'they' used to treat Indos from both Guyana and Trinidad like low class citizens.

Mapoui,
That is a fantasy black people have been peddling for years that their ancestors built :

Guyana and Trinidad and Suriname !

AND we Indians are some kind of Johnny come lately interlopers who should play second banana to them.

Indos are too mentally weak! A good example is comparing Kanhai to Viv Richards. Both talented players but Viv Richards had that extra killer instinct who made bowlers tremble when he walks in to bat. History shows Kanhai as being regarded good whereas Richards was one of the greatest ever! Long live King Viv!
