'My heart is still to play for West Indies' - Pollard

My career with West Indies is something I can't answer. I know I was selected for the T20 series in New Zealand recently, which I pulled out because of personal reasons, some stuff that I needed to attend. The last communication I had from the West Indies' selectors was an e-mail sent on January 3, asking about my availability for the 2019 World Cup qualifiers. They gave us just four days to respond, knowing that we [already] had PSL contracts. And since then I have not had any communication with them. That is why that is a question I can't answer. That is a question Cricket West Indies needs to answer

One should play where the heart is, I mean, motivation will be higher, even if money is obviously very important too.

interesting comment!

suppose the heart exists in divided loves/loyalties?

in which case I guess Pullhard can sing like the old mixed Calypsonian Dougla..that they can split him in 2

den again if the loyalties were disposed in such a way that they sit there waiting on Pullhard whole or in half. they rolled on a certain way before Pulhard and work a certain way now that requires a complex and sophisticated response from him

in fact demands/commands such a response. it is not something he can ignore. it is not simply following ones heart. its like with the love of an honest man for a bad woman. to follow ones heart in such relationship is..would be horrific...like it would be for Pullhard if he played for the cWI regardless..because he was following his heart

have you ever seen Pollards family man...his children?

if he left those children to starve they would kill him in Trinidad. and to feed those children adequately he would have to move his heart from the cWI and the biased vagaries of the policies of chief of selectors Skourtney Brong, and align it with the T20 competitions round the world.

otherwise that blind love will lead him to his grave..and his family with him

Laughlin to Pollard, byes, Adelaide Strikers are into the final!
Pollard looks for a mighty slog across the line but doesn't connect.
He's been beaten by Laughlin's variation of pace.
Wait: on replays, I see that it was a normal pace ball but Pollard was just early into it with his panic bat swing
Did so and was further limited by the ball moving into him, and cutting him into two halves.
The batsmen run the bye on offer but that can't be enough, right?

den again the actual loyalties are they disposed in such a way that they sit there waiting on Pullhard whole or in half for their continuation ???? t

were they not rolling before Pulhard, roll now as he is elsewhere, and will roll on when he is gone?
it is just that he is qualified for involvement and requires a complex and sophisticated response from him...in fact demands/commands such a response. it is not something he can ignore..cant afford to actually burn the cWI bridge.

it is not simply following ones heart. its like with the love of an honest man for a bad woman. to follow ones heart in such relationship would be horrific...like it would be for Pullhard if he played for the cWI regardless..because he was following his heart :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Man! have you ever seen Pollards family...his children

if he left those children to starve they would kill him and skin him in Trinidad. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Pieces is part of the BraBits and Pieces duo, to wit :
15.2
Laughlin to Dwayne Bravo, caught by Jono Dean !
Bravo doesn't live long enough to make use of the dropped catch
He's tried to force the ball through covers here and popped an edge to backward point.
Jono Dean there, who flies sideways to take it. Brilliant catch. And look at Laughlin all pumped!

LanceKraigg’s time is up. He has never truly moved on as a player. Despite being captain and senior batsmen we will lose nothing with investing in a rookie.

He has given his service as an honest and wholehearted performer and would leave with my heartfelt thanks for his contribution.

AdrianDarren Bravo had a remarkable 2020 cricket season, showcasing his skills and talent on the field. His impressive performance was a significant factor in the team's success, and his dedication to the sport is truly admirable. Bravo's ability to adapt to different playing conditions and his consistent batting average made him a valuable asset to the team.
