I think biggest challenge will be rebuilding unity between the senior players and the windies cricket board. Actually, it's not just older players, it's all players.
Also get shiv back in another test match.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

The fact is that he has a lot of experience and motivation for the job, so I think he can produce good results. Obviously it will not be easy, but his experience in Kent in the past 5 seasons will help him succeed now.

there is an inherent contradiction between any positive Jimmy may represent and the basic principle of bureaucracy.
Jimmy Adams is bound to fail regardless. that is what I meant above when I stated that Jimmy had sold out. there is nothing Adams can do for the players and for the cricket that won be opposed to the interest of the administration carrying on their authority and parasitism of the west indies cricket.
like Phil Simmons, Bra Bits and Polly, Sammy, lil Bravo and all who have been banished Adams will himself at odds with skameron and be fired himself.
the admin has control...its purpose is to maintain ITSELF. to maintain itself means big salaries and perks, power, and expansion..always expansion. the life of the bureau depends on its constant expansion which would be relative to its size.
if the bureau does not expand it contract and die. so its purpose is to involved more and more people in para-siting the cricket..by corrupting more and more people, tying their livelihood with that of the bureau. that way it would be protected more and more

Jimmy shud understand this..must understand it. he is no fool. he is a very bright guy, smart, sophisticated, well brought up... worthy of high office.
that Jimmy joins skameron after all skam has done to the cricket is sort of interesting.maybe Jimmy has something up his sleeve..like the preparation of a back stab fuh ole skam.
but ole skam has proven he is the master of bureaucratic in-fighting so Jimmy wud have to be a kind of Einstein of back-stabbing to get through to him.
looks like Jimmy is mastered from the start..that skam has him pacified and ready to join up and support the destruction of west indies cricket at profit to himself. Jimmy is corrupted
what is Jimmy's Salary going to be as Chief Cricket Officer ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::

Yeah, there is a lot happening backstage that most of us don't even understand. Well, we do understand the logic behind it, the backstabbing as you say, but at the end of the day it's just business.
As for the salary, I'm pretty sure he will be fine.

Jimmy Adams is going to need time, patience and a lot of luck to make it work, and 2 of them things I'm not sure he's got. It's only natural for optimism anytime a so called fresh start comes along, but if the old ways are still there, God himself will have a hard time fixing everything that is broken.
I'm not saying that Adams CAN'T do it, just doubt he will be given the time and the chance to fix everything, because lets face it, these are deep rooted issues that go way back and isn't something that will be easy to sort out. Good luck to him anyway.
