MAPPIPPEE,
I am sure there were issues but not sure how you are tying Amla into something sordid!
The more just treatment of Blacks was always going to take time and whatever the political issues, two of my favourite cricketers (Prince and Ntini) they had poor performances for some time, especially Prince, prior to their dropping.
We have established, and agree, that Prince should not have opened as he is not an opener and of the last 16 tests, the first 3 in that sequence, he opened and then down to the middle order.
The fact remains, his numbers were not good in his last 13 tests, if you exclude the first 3!
If Amla said I will not open then that was up to him but still do not see what negative or corrupt role Amla had in anything.
Yes, even in the absence of researching Prince fully, if we accept he was treated badly you have yet to tell me why Amla is culpable.
Amla's refusal to open, if that was indeed the case, was a selectorial issue.
SA has had Black CEOs for the longest while now!

are you muslim Mail? jess arksin' ;D
isnt Amla a human being..in what you would call a sordid world ::confused:: how does he live and not get bathed in sh!t, if that is the way of the world ::confused::
what you call sordid is appears to be the way of the world actually is before we learned Political korrectitude...which is another way to describe hypocrisy.
Amla just became Saffie captain when ABd was firs' in line. it just so happened that Haroon Lorgat was/is Saffie cricket honcho then.
what did I do...PREDICTED WITH THE VERY GREATEST CONFIDENCE RIGHT HERE IN THESE PAGES THAT 'H'AMLA WOULD BE MADE CAPTAIN AS A RESULT..THAT ABd WOULD SLEEP OUT AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE NO LEG TO STAND ON, COULD HAVE NO COMPLAINT. DUE TO PREVIOUS RACISM/FAVORITISM OF THE SAFFIE WHITES.
how sweet, joyful, pristine and divine was that process then, relative to to sordid life that Amla involved in. you not reading properly Mail. how pristine was his refusal to open the innings for the team forcing Prince instead ::confused::
you appear to have a right fine and cherubic, divine and ethical impression of Hashim. clearly you are dead wrong. even from afar the contents H'amla has been involved in and their outcomes do not prove any such thing. Hashim Amla appears to me to be a very normal and ordinary, regular human being, the product of one of the most nasty, routine social realities in the world and fully trained by being a product of it, to function in very finely indeed
you would have to bathe him in sh!t to get him dirty as he is dirty already. or you may call sh!t life and so the dirt is in fact how things actually are with humans...which is the truth for we have things bass backwards, since we made god in the sky, and gave him a whole doctrinal base and identity, the entire opposite of what we are by the very natural conditions we are born into that makes us who we are
'top fool yuhself Mail. humans are nasty, sordid..ALL of us. and it is quite natural...nothing more sane than that relative to who we are, how were born and the conditions in which we live that shaped us::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::

Stuart Broad has been fined 30% of his match fee for telling umpire Aleem Dar to "just get on with the game"
during the fourth day of the Newlands Test.
The incident happened the 195th over of South Africa's innings after Dar had warned captain Cook
about Broad damaging the pitch when he kicked at it in frustration following a dropped catch by
Jonny Bairstow which reprieved Temba Bavuma.
