Shannon Gabriel will become the 10th player born in the West Indies to play LV = County Championship cricket for Worcestershire after signing up for the final two matches of the 2015 campaign.
Nine other players in a period stretching back 63 years have turned out in Championship cricket for the County.

So after all those years only 9 West Indians have played championship cricket in England? Well I hope Shannon will do something in those two games if he plays.

Gabriel will become the tenth West Indian to play championship cricket for Worcestershire, not in all of county cricket. Vanburn Holder, Ivan Johnson and Ron Headley are among the other nine to have previously played for Worcestershire.
There have been hundreds of West Indians to play county cricket in England through the years.

Gabriel finally got a chance to bowl on the third day of play this morning - bowling 4 overs without taking a wicket. The wicket nor the weather is helping him out and it looks as though this match will very likely end up in a draw.

I was watching the Hampshire match until rain ended play for the day, but of the few highlights that were shown during the broadcast, it looked as though Gabriel was told to go out and bowl as fast as he could and not worry about control. He did get lit up but also bowled a fearsome bouncer that struck a Durham batsman on the helmet.
