Bravo is a wealthy man and he does not care about the other players. The agreement signed was a fair one

dem fellas have a vested interest and it is on dat deh run west indies criket in order to gain the backing necessary to keep themselves in place.  deh not stupid.  deh very capable.  it is how they make their living and maintain their class.  that is how they came up feeding, that is the structure not only of west indian cricket but of west indian society .

that is the problem.

I will remind allyuh that when I started posting I established that there will be no resurgence in west indies cricket until the popular interest became dominant at factory Road.  i.e not until there was a popular social intervention in west indian society that found reflection in our institutional framework..indeed in all we do as a culture

until that happens we have to deal with the old way firmly entrenched.  that old way is done, decayed and useless.  but if the people do not rise up and topple it over it will remain in place keeping the society back.

it is old and useless systematically..it can produce only the mess we are in right now.  it cannot lead the way out.  indeed it earns its mean by fcuking up everything.  the social system that produces that is dead and done that's why. it has no future it can only lookback to and take example of its negative past that it calls glorious, but which was full of genocide, piracy, slavery, indenture, colonial/settler conquest and extermination of peoples

that is the experience and social interest that formed the west indies and shaped the class that runs the region..still dominates and pays those guys.  that social interest has no intent of allowing any such as the west indies rise and thrive. it is in their interest to keep the region and all such formerly colonial regions down.  as part of the west indian institutional structure the wicb will always act as it does..against the interest of that which it purports to represent..the development and success of west indies cricket.

it is not that they are stupid .  they are very capable in representing the interests of the old rotten empire..which is why west indies cricket is in such a mess.  they are very skillful in destroying it..and they are well paid for it.

it is the same thing with the whole of west indian society as in most societies where that system still dominates.  it will not get better until that system is overthrown.
