To me it is not just the victories but the manner in which it was executed. Moving Shannon to deep third man and to immediately get the wicket would have been a great confidence boost for his captaincy.


Even against the kiwis, although they lost 2-1, they genuinely competed as they had not for eons.


Ramdin also seem able to make difficult decision for what he judges as in the interest of the team.
