85 runs lead
2.15pm : It seems like the rain is pretty significant, the umpires are having another chat
but are happy to continue. A stack of umbrellas up in the crowd.
But just as we're about to begin a new over umpire Tucker decides enough is enough and they
go off for rain

There is more rain in the forecast on Sunday and Monday so England will need to push on tomorrow if they want to get a result.

Rain can save India here I guess. But the problem is that they couldn't bat through the first day so England's still got time to bat. So unless there's a complete washout in full two days - draw is unlikely.

England 258/6 and slowly starting to grind down bowlers. The lead is already over 100 and root is "digging deep".
i would say, they are looking at a 200 odd lead. They will look to finish it off before Day 4.
I really am praying England crumble like 9 pins now..

Buttler with back to back fifties and Root once again showing his class as England lead by 173 with two wickets in hand. The two late wickets before lunch will give India a sliver of hope but it will be an uphill task to save the Test from here. England 325/8.

Aaron to Broad, short again, quicker, 141.8kph, and it's hit him ! It's lodged in the helmet.
Went for the pull and missed it. It's gone in between the grille and the peak of the helmet.
He's bleeding, and the physio's running out. ...That looks nasty. Let's hope he's okay.
Was quicker from Aaron and it came on to him a lot quicker as he played the pull shot.
Beat him for pace.
Got a bit of the edge on the way and smashed into the bridge of the nose
Broad retired hurt 12

Jadeja to Anderson, straight . Anderson was looking to work that into the leg side.
Walked across the stumps, was rapped on the pads, and Rod Tucker gave him out lbw.
Anderson lbw b Jadeja 9
