Former England captain Alec Stewart says Michael Carberry has lost freedom in his batting which could cost him his place

one few the few who has faced up the music.. at the top.. and can still hold his head high.  yet he is the one who comes under ctiticism.

Trott goes home. swann goes home.  The englishmen pick on the lone black guy. I sniff a racial tone here

The coach said quite clearly Swanny should have seen out the tour. Other players have come under scrutiny and prior was dropped. There will be speculations when things go wrong.

Carberry is known for his attacking game at the top of the order and he has not been as aggressive and fluent but who can blame him?

He is making his way in test cricket and he has had to witness an early wicket more times than not so he is cautious. He batted very well and watching the games, he seemed to be the only one we could rely on.

Do not get over dramatic, it is but the view of one man. Alec does not speak for all of England. Having seen Carberry in these tests he has applied himself and that has been the view of all of the fans out in Australia and by all accounts the people at home.

I think we are panicking far too much.

I did enjoy it but we crumbled. I think trots departure had a major and negative psychological impact on the team.


Fact is Kwams, our top order was failing from ten summer when we won 3-0.( our bowlers rescued us.


No one seemed to get the ball to swing in Oz.
