that was a reall sooprize kwami...dullahan making third on a dirt track in this kind of company.
but the B ran them all into the ground. all the 'big boys' were burnt out. and Dullahan is a stone closer so he rumbled through to a nice piece of change.
but the Preakness is a shorter race and if they run the B he may not be caught this time.
at this stage I doubt the Preakness will produce a different result. but I will be looking closesly. I lost my money this time by getting caught up in all the hype.
I am looking forward to the Preakness and Belmont

dulhan needs fractions like 22 ,, 43 and a half and he will close like a bastard in the remaining triple crown races

I have no faith in closers. they always disappoint. they hardly win! I trust speed more. a race wil really have to set up for a closer for me to bet him to win. and even then I always hedge and cover myself just in case.
I will bet you right here that Dullahan wins neither the Preakness nor the Belmont if he goes in them
at this point I am looking at a repeat in the preakness of the same 2 horses. the others are not good enuff to challenge them. but I will be looking to see if that is right or not.
I will get back to allyuh with what I see before the Preakness

Prolific racehorse owner Chin quitsMonday, May 7 2012
LOCAL horseracing has lost another major player. This time it is TTRA chairman Derek Chin, who has decided to quit the local horseracing scene.
His withdrawal follows closely on that of Junior Sammy after last year’s Derby and owner-breeder Brian Stollmeyer.
As a result of Chin quitting racing, his brain-child the Caribbean Nations Racing Challenge succesfully launched in December last year, becomes a thing of the past.
Chin who was asked to head the Trinidad and Tobago Racing Authority by Trade and Industry Minister Stephen Cadiz is contemplating resignation from the position. A “doping†incident involving his horse Boogie Blues, winner of last year’s Republic Bank Gold Cup, triggered Chin’s decision.
A test of samples taken from Boogie Blues according to Chin, was confirmed as negative by the testing facility in Iowa.
He said the preliminary report received from the Iowa State University Laboratory was called “suspicious†and was later listed as “positive†in a second report because of a minute substance of 1/9th billionth of a gramme of Indomethecin.
Chin said the drug was Class 3 or four theraputic medicine for horses and he emphasised it was not a performance enhancing drug.
He pointed out the threshold or calibrated setting for the medication was set at 100 nanogramme/ML by the lab, while Boogie Blues sample came in at a mere 9nanogrammes/M, well below the accepted threshold level for the substance.
Chin said over the last few months there has been conflicting reports and published opinions on the issue of zero tolerance as it related to drug testing in horse racing arising out of the test on Boogie Blues.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
