Long Term Care homes (LTC) have been recent target of the Virus!

older and elderly residents are succumbing in Droves !

One home at Nielsen and Ellesmere is currently at 22 residents

and some staff ~

The mother of Minnesota Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns has died due to complications as a result of the coronavirus.

Last month, Towns posted an emotional video on Instagram in which he confirmed both of his parents were feeling unwell and heeded the advice to go to the hospital.

His father, Karl Sr., was cleared to return home and go into self-quarantine, but Jacqueline was put on a ventilator after both underwent COVID-19 testing.

A Timberwolves statement on Monday read: "She was an incredible source of strength; a fiery, caring, and extremely loving person, who touched everyone she met.

"Her passion was palpable and her energy will never be replaced."

The Timberwolves selected Towns with the number one overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2015-16 and is a two-time All-Star.

Muslim communities across Canada
have already seen sweeping changes as physical distancing rules came into effect last month.

Daily prayers and weekly sermons have been cancelled, as well as Arabic classes
day camps and Qur’an readings that are often hosted by mosques.

Now many community events will be cancelled during Ramadan this year.

The month of Ramadan — in which Muslims go without food or drink from sunrise to sunset every day —

often features gatherings where families and friends break fast and pray together.

It’s set to start on Thursday

based on the Islamic lunar calendar and will last until May 23 ~~

INFECTED those floors ~

male, mother had it and passed it to him and he went in to work !

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
