open this up and see: WoW shud not have a problem with a mile and a half
lets look and see: Danzig is WoW grandfather..Danzig is the son of Northern Dancer, was a truly solid distance influence..who himself came out of soild route horses especially Nearco
then there are these route devils in there in the lines of both sire and dam of WoW:
Fappiano a very successful sire, Forli, Riverman and right up front Saddlers Wells. Danzig himself is a strong route influence. and when you go 5 generations back you run into real route power in Round Table and Nijinsky
but five back all those horses are classic route horses who are major route influences. the only problem that would prevent WoW from doing a mile and half well enough to win wold be if either Dam or Sire isn't passing on class and professional genes..which would be the terms for pedigree to do mile and half and more
and that isnt likely. she shows 11 foals for whom there are records of 8. of those 8 6 are winners..and of those 6, 3 have won big and 1..WoW have won really big
Sire War Front has really done well. it's over 200k to get a mare covered by War Front.
and WoW's pedigree is studded with big winners:
Nothern Dancer
Nijinksy
Saddlers Wells
Rubiano
those are the biggest winners but all but 2 or 3 of the rest in his pedigree profile, have won upwards of 150 grand to more than half million dollars
I don't see a problem with WoW at a mile and half. I don't know if he will win but the distance shud not trouble him
{ one fact: even as he does well on the Main Track WoW's pedigree is really, truly strong on grass. that's where most of those in there did their damage, won most of their money. but they all, also ran well on dirt}
