i know it wont but i enjoy their reaction all the same. it is good to get the mindset that so many mask and attempt to validate in the open.

a race/ethnic group does not equate to class. within every ethnic group their are different classes. you confuse ethnic heritage with class

i dont know jamaica but i never knew of poor chinese in trinidad...none at all. 

if a chinese in titty was poor deh were jess wutliss dats all.  even the 'mongrels' were included in the internal chinese 'affirmative action' program, and all who tapped into it did well.

the richest Kanadian is that chinese/african fella, whose name escapes me.

in Trinidad I used to be amazed at some of the personalities who were doing exceedinly well in my time...one such as Hollis Chin Ke Fat, a jounalist and broadcaster...or the calypsonian 'Crazy'...both Chinese/African.

especially chin ke fat.  yu would have had to look close to see the chinese in him, from the black..but he was. and he did well although his talent was AWOL.  he did not have much

your definition of class has some merit but the numerical reality with regard to rich and poor chinese in the westindies was like 99 to 1.

unless there has been, since the 19-seventies an upsurge in chinese poverty in the westindies, that relationship remains the same....or chinese poverty in the region may actualy be non-existent by now
