Lebanese in the westindies are all christians...not muslims...MARONITE christians.  dont yu know dat?

Gene miles was a very tall and very beautiful Trinidad white woman, very popular with the masses of the people..across the board.  she was loved by all.

but she became a figure for the people in a huge financial scandal involving the chinese comunity and their entrenched position around eric williams, oil money, gas stations and the like.

Miles was genuine and she had to be destroyed and she duly was.  she had a serious problem with alcohol and drugs and she was secretly drugged in such a way that triggered her problem in the worse way. she degenerated on the streets of port of spain and dies there.

miles was a top civil servant and all the people with whom she worked, all who had money and power just left her there to rot away.


thats one chinese scandal.  there are many more!

I know personally Trinidad chinese who have houses in the south of France and Oslo.

allyuh know wat wud be a great doc...one dat wud be very helpful to the westindian people.....ONE ON THE ORIGIN AND EVOLUTION OF THE SYRIAN LEBANESE COMUNITY IN THE WESTINDIES.

Dave6 wud do a very useful thing if he explained dat comunity to the people of the westindies who have suffered under a 'Syrian' yoke....telling us how deh became chrisitian in a sea of Islam...and why deh are all over the world, propserous, doing the work of the west, while all others from their area have real trouble surviving

I have heaps of footage on the syrian Jamaican community and the Haitian middle eastern community.
I am in the process of making a project on the middle eastern caribbean community and their christian heritage. but for the record they did not become christian they always were.
the middle east and north africa was christian long before europe or any other culture.

correct me ah second time den, but I always thought Lebanese christians were a product of the crusades?

the coptics, maronites, and the other groups of eastern orthodox faith date back further than the roman catholics. some of the first tribes to accept the christian faith were the Phonecians a group within the Lebanon. the egyptian coptics have been around for hundreds of years before roman catholics.
some of the oldest monastary and churches are in syria and lebanon.
