T he only reason that the chinese and white or rather the portugese as in the case in guyana became wealthy is because they had access to bank loans which were denied to indians and blacks . This is from personal experience as I recall when my father was denied a bank loan inspite of the fact that he had colateral . This crap about their work ethic and dexterity, determination and disipline etc is just that ... crap

Chinese Loans were considered more important :
1.Dry Cleaners
2.Fast Food /Chinee restaurants
3.Rum Shop
4.Grocery store
Your dad probably wanted a rice farm Loan ! Lol
