I agree on grading teachers. If there are lazy students there are lazy teachers as well. In my country, some teachers just check the attendance and then sell peanuts to children or other snacks. How will children learn if the teacher only does that? I think it's fine if our education system is for free, but the thing is we pay our tuition yet most of the teachers do not teach.

[/quote] And what country would that be?
I love the idea of students grading teachers. I had a teacher that had us fill out an evaluation about him. As long as nobody got too crazy with it, we could pretty much say what we wanted. He was a cool teacher though. Too bad some of the other ones didn't offer to let us evaluate them.
Can parents get in on this action too? Teachers always want to grade parents, but I'd like to return the favor. In fact, I'd like to grade the whole staff.
Thank you guys for giving your opinions about this matter. When I was a student, I really wished that the school board or the department of education will allow students to grade their teacher to see whether that teacher is capable of teaching his/her students in an appropriate manner. As of now I haven't seen any school yet who does this and I still wonder if it can be implemented.
when i was in highschool and you got a terrible teacher - you just dealt with it --- You worked HARD in that class - if you didnt like it then seek to change your class.
there is no respect anymore for teachers and parents are not taking enough responsibility for their kids behaviour and attitude.
I mean just look at them with them with this whole Pokeman Go thing.....like sheep!
