Apparent random Toronto stabbing suspect ID'd as Rohinie Bisesar

Toronto police have identified the suspect in an unprovoked Friday stabbing that left a woman critically injured in the financial district on Friday as 40-year-old Rohinie Bisesar.

Police asked for the public's help in finding her after she allegedly stabbed another woman for no apparent reason inside a Shoppers Drug Mart located in the PATH system below Bay and Wellington Streets.

The suspect brought a knife into the store and then stabbed the victim "without provocation" around 2:55 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Bisesar is wanted for attempted murder.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if she is located and not to approach her.
