* But as I stated earlier in this thread, any batsman who ends his career with 3000+ runs and a 50+ test average is an ORDINARY or statistical great.

The poor form of Chanderpaul continued today as he only managed to score 1 run. I don't know if Shiv is in poor form or he has lost he completely. If he fails in the other innings in the rest of the series then I think it would be the end for him where international cricket is concerned.

To be brutally honest it is irritating when legends struggle in the fag end of their career.We start to hate them for non-performance.It happens to everyone,but hoping shiv stays strong and shuts his "critics up".
