Who are these people Rev? Are they in other forums as it is only your and Ramesh calling for his retirement!

* I've been reading the comments of long time Shiv supporters over at Caribbeancricket.com----folks like Narper, etc
* As of today I am no longer looking forward to Shiv reaching 12K
* If he miraculously gets to 12K---fine
* Once Shiv ends his career as the first Guyanese to average 50+ in tests----that'll be great.

Clearly you do but I do not see the relevance of that 50+ average given the great Babu ended with 47 and he was an absolute master, and the first Master Blaster.

* You are not a fan of Chanderpaul and so it is understandable you don't see the relevance of a 50+ average.
* But as I stated earlier in this thread, any batsman who ends his career with 3000+ runs and a 50+ test average is an ORDINARY or statistical great.
* Chanderpaul will end his career as an ordinary/statistical great.
The poor form of Chanderpaul continued today as he only managed to score 1 run. I don't know if Shiv is in poor form or he has lost he completely. If he fails in the other innings in the rest of the series then I think it would be the end for him where international cricket is concerned.
CHECK OUT SHIV GIVING CATCHING PRACTICE TO MOEEN ALI----2min 15 sec mark
* Shiv's problem is he is not batting with conviction and confidence----he is waaaay too tentative-----look at that dismissal----he just steered that ball into Moen's hands.
To be brutally honest it is irritating when legends struggle in the fag end of their career. We start to hate them for non-performance.It happens to everyone, but hoping shiv stays strong and shuts his "critics up".
GO SHIV..!!!
