Haha!!! .... will be 'pace like fiyah' ... Hot! Hot! Hot! ::
BTW ... just wondering how many times a spinner actually opened the bowling in a Test Match. I remember Clarkey using Michael Beer v WI but that was on the second day I think.
According to Boycott "world scurrying to find facts on spinners to open the bowling in Test matches like eager spectacled field mice." ::rofl::

Kieran Powell in really company of legends. To be mentioned in the same breath as Sir Garry Sobers is indeed a feat in its own right. However, Kieran may have a lot to live up to. This only makes life hard for him and puts an enormous amount of pressure on this young lad. Yes, Bangladesh may be the minnows but they have had their moments of glory, they have topped greater teams .. Consistency in a cricketer is what this feat has to say about Kieran Powell.

I don't know anything about Kieran Powell, I've never seen him bat. A century in both innings is a great achievement against any opposition but it will be interesting to see if he builds on this or fades away like Adrian Barath.

Powell averages 23 minus Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. And this 23 is itself inflated by a NZ tour of WI in which NZ fielded an incomplete team and incomplete bowling attack, and in which he managed to get one century. The worse thing is the amount of drop catches he relies on.
