Why hope chose holder?

While I do not believe Captain Hope made the right call in deciding to have Jason Holder bowl that Super Over in the match vs Netherlands - and I expressed my disapproval to work colleagues BEFORE Holder had even bowled a ball!! - to assert that the decision was made because Holder is the same nationality as the Captain is bare unsubstantiated, purely malicious rubbish pushed hard by many (not all, mind you) people who, because they embrace their rabid and toxic insularity so tightly, and so lovingly, and so wholeheartedly, they can only view and understand things through that one particular, narrow lens … even as they daily make grandiose, profoundly pretensive posts ostensibly condemning what they cling to most staunchly - “countryman cricket”!
