West Indies have recalled Evin Lewis to their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia. Lewis last played international cricket at last year's T20 World Cup in the UAE, and had since missed out on West Indies' squads for fitness reasons.

There is no room in the squad for the allrounder Andre Russell, who, like Lewis, last featured for West Indies during last year's T20 World Cup. Fabian Allen, who recently announced his availability for selection after taking a break for family reasons, is also absent.

If I am Hayden Walsh jr I would start taking a long hard look at my career and aspirations.

How can you let a man who didnt even play CPL leapfrog you as the premier leg spinner?

Looking at the WC Squad, WI could start with this XI:

Mayers
King
Pooran
Reifer
Hetmyer
Powell
Holder
Smith
Hosein
Joseph
Mccoy

Reifer adds balance to the batting and can bat early against spin splitting the two lefties. He provides flexibility with his seam

Only in West Indies cricket will you see the selector pull up on live TV and freestyle WC selection questions thrown at him 😂

This is why we love the game

If I am Romario Shepherd I might as well commit to franchise cricket and trying to be a lower order slogger/finisher. His bowling has fallen off so much Raymon Reifer has leapfrogged him
