Kemar Roach is level with Michael Holding on the number of wickets taken and is all set to overtake him on the list. Sampath has more numbers that further the legend on Kemar Roach. For a long time, after the retirement of Curtly Ambrose, West Indies didn't have a bowler who took more than 200 wickets. Not only did he become the first bowler, this century, for West Indies to take more than 200 wickets, he is steadily climbing up the ladder for West Indies bowlers with most Test wickets

lunch on day 1. West Indies captain Brathwaite elected to bowl first hoping the pitch would help their seamers as there was a bit of grass cover. Bangladesh openers started well before Mahmudul Hasan Joy was dismissed by the debutant Anderson Phillip with the team score at 41. Tamim and Shanto looked good but Tamim lost his wicket just before the break.

I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope.
