If variety is the spice of the Spice Island, then Kyle Mayers provided it with relish on the first morning of the third Test in Grenada, as his canny medium-paced allsorts whipped out two prize wickets - including that of England's captain, Joe Root for a duck - before Jayden Seales prised out the in-form Dan Lawrence to give West Indies the upper hand on a compelling first morning.
With the series locked at 0-0 after two enervatingly flat decks in Antigua and Barbados, the excitement among the seamers on both sides was palpable as the final Test dawned in humid conditions, and on a grass-tinged deck with a hint of moisture beneath the surface.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
