Talking about his own appointment, Harper said his target was to make the selection process
as transparent as possible.

"If the West Indies team is to move forward it's an area we have to get right.
I look forward to working with coach Simmons, fellow selector Bascombe, taking the advice of
captains Holder and Pollard so that we make this process as transparent as possible,
so that every player who is performing and meeting the criteria, will feel they have a fair chance at being selected.
Once we do that I believe players will give their best and we will see a positive effect of that on the field."

Andy Roberts was commenting that since he was on the Task Force

mandated to review the selection policy criteria and overhaul the process

HE should not be offered a J-O_B : with the SAME department....

wat is wrong with west indies cricket is the lack of popular participation in it. there is too much elitism in west indies cricket still..too much middle class about it fuh eff's sake

Chanderpaul suffered the injury while playing a shot in the nets on Tuesday.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
