After defeating the West Indies team in all the three formats of the game team India will play their first series at the home of the 2019-20 Home season. The season will begin with South Africa touring India followed by Bangladesh.
Team India in its Home Season will play 5 test matches, 9 ODIs and 12 Twenty 20s against South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies, Australia.
South Africa will start the tour of India with the T20I series as they will play 3 T20Is starting from 15th September to 22nd September which will be followed by 3 Test matches which will be the part of the World Test Championship from 2nd October onwards.
The BCCI has already announced the team India’s squad for the T20I series in which MS Dhoni has not been picked. Hardik Pandya is included and he will mark his first international appearance after the World Cup 2019, as he was rested for the West Indies tour due to the injury he suffered in the World Cup. The T20I series will be captained by Virat Kohli[
