During the 1930s, Australian radio broadcast “synthetic” commentary of tests in England. Working from ball-by-ball telegrams the team commentated as if at the match, using sound effects such as recorded crowd noise and a pencil hitting a block of wood to mimic bat against ball.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
