Sri Lanka will be glad that they will have the services of two of their most experienced players for the upcoming tour of West Indies after senior batsman Angelo Mathews and seamer Suranga Lakmal passed their fitness tests.
Both players were picked in the squads named last week, but their participation was subject to fitness. Both players' match fitness was assessed during an eight-day residential training camp in Kandy that concluded on Wednesday.
The two players had been medically cleared earlier this month, but their match fitness was assessed in Kandy.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I loved that their participation was subject to fitness and they had been medically cleared earlier this month. I really felt bad when Mathews, who had just returned from your in January having hurt his harmstring and was out of cricket for months. I was so happy when he recovered.
