Today in 2004, 14 years ago: Test cricket's only quadruple century was achieved by a certain Brian Lara - 400* in 582 balls!
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

The slowest Test century since the turn of the millennium was compiled by Jimmy Adams
for West Indies against Zimbabwe in Kingston in March 2000
It took him more than eight hours - 496 minutes in all.
Next comes a more noted West Indian stonewaller, Shivnarine Chanderpaul
whose century against India in Antigua in 2001-02
took 457 minutes.
