“We cannot be in a more desperate position than we are in now. What we need to do is to qualify. Go and help us qualify and then you do what you want after that. Pave the way for somebody else coming after you. If they say no, as far as I am concerned, that would be it. If all of our top guys decide they are not going, I would not pick them again,” Sir Andy said.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Everything in life need sacrifice especially modern cricket.
Start thinking about new players who are committed to WINDIES cricket first.

I don't agree with Andy at all at all! let Andy go check Skamerons salary..den compare it with what the players are paid.
not only Skameron but all the officers up in the cWI. the cWI is a rip off parasitic bureaucracy.
the players have a 10-20 year window to make a living off of cricket..when they young and fit. they they done and must look for other work to make ends meet. they cannot afford to sacrifice their best years for a pittance to the cWI so that Skameron and them can live fat
and theoretically Skameron and those officers up in there can be there for life. they do not need to be able to bat and bowl for a living and can kerry on after they are 40+ the players are done usually done by the time they are 35
Andy has no case. it is either the players are adequately compensated or they are not...in which case they are not obliged to play for the west indies while denying themselves opportunities to earn max money elsewhere at the same time.
that amounts to the players looking after the west indies while at the same time the west indies does not look after them. the cWI does not look after west indian players so there is no reason for them to sacrifice for the west indies
Andy shud be looking for the nearest garbage can to toss that opinion into. it is of no use to anyone
