Statement from ECB_cricket re Ben Stokes. “ECB is aware that Ben Stokes has been charged with affray in relation to an incident in Bristol in September. “The Board will now convene within 48 hours to decide on Ben Stokes’ availability to represent England at this stage.

Depending on their actions, and the laws of the prevailing jurisdiction, those engaged in an affray
may also render themselves liable to prosecution for assault, unlawful assembly, or riot;
if so, it is for one of these offences that they are usually charged

ECB statement: "Following a full Board discussion, in which all considerations were taken into account, the ECB Board has agreed that Ben Stokes should now be considered for England selection."

Stokes due on court to hear affray charges on Feb 13. Same day of England T20 in Wellington that was set to be his international return

Another top performance from England! They certainly know their roles and have so many options to turn to, with lots of dynamic match winners in the side. Great to watch. Australia have got lots of improving to do in this format!
